A Lions Club PROJECT
The Lodge is a Lions Club Project, owned and operated by a registered Charitable Trust. The dedicated committee give their time freely. The Lodge is open to all with particular emphasis to school groups but also to four wheel drive clubs, Forest and Bird people, Study groups, Reunions and Wedding parties.
Pureora Forest Park Lodge is situated between Mangakino and Te Kuiti off SH30. Turn off onto Waitaramoa Road.
Crockery and cutlery enough for at least 50 people
5 Toasters – enough to do 12 slices at a time
Walk in chiller
Large chest freezer
Cooking pots, bowls, utensils (enough to cook for at least 50)
(As some utensils seem to constantly go missing, you may like to bring your own good sharp knives and chopping board)
Drying racks for use in wet weather
Tables, with folding legs, and chairs to seat 60.
2 wall heaters
3 Domestic brooms
4 large brooms
3 brush and shovel sets
One cotton mop and bucket
3 squeeze mops
2 X 14 bunk beds
2 X 8 bunk beds
1 X 7 beds (a smaller room often used by adults/cooks)
All beds have a foam mattress
Toilets – separate male & female – 4 of each.
Shower room – 4 showers with row of hand basins
1 Disability toilet and shower room
